Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Orblly ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using Orblly, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Orblly is a community networking platform that connects people through shared career interests, hobbies, and life stages. We help members find each other, attend events, list services, and collaborate on projects.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Orblly. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to belong to users under 18.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You may not create an account on behalf of someone else or use another person's identity.
You may pause or delete your account at any time from Settings.

4. Community Rules

You agree not to use Orblly to:

Harass, threaten, or harm other members
Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
Impersonate another person or organisation
Spam, solicit, or send unsolicited commercial messages
Share content that is sexually explicit, violent, or hateful
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Attempt to access another user's account or any non-public part of the Platform

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

5. Events, Classes, and Services

Orblly allows members to create and attend events, host classes, and list services.

Hosts are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for delivering what they promise.
Orblly does not currently process payments. Any financial arrangement between members is entirely between those members and outside of Orblly's responsibility.
Orblly reserves the right to remove listings that violate these Terms or our community standards.

6. Identity Verification

Orblly offers an optional identity verification programme. If you choose to participate:

You consent to submitting a government-issued ID document (passport or national ID) for review by our moderation team.
Your document is stored securely and is used solely for the purpose of verifying your identity.
Verified status may be revoked if we determine that fraudulent documents were submitted.
You may withdraw your verification request at any time by contacting us.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Orblly (profiles, event listings, discussion posts, service listings, project posts, reviews, and announcements).

By posting content, you grant Orblly a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Orblly does not endorse any user-generated content.

8. Reviews

Reviews are intended to be honest accounts of genuine experiences. You agree not to post false reviews, reviews in exchange for payment, or reviews of events you did not attend. Orblly may remove reviews that appear to violate this policy.

9. Blocking and Reporting

Orblly provides tools to block other members and report content or behaviour that violates these Terms. We review reports and take action at our discretion, which may include content removal, warnings, or account termination.

10. Privacy

Your use of Orblly is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully.

11. Intellectual Property

The Orblly name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

12. Disclaimers

Orblly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the actions of other members, the quality of events or services listed, or any loss arising from your use of the Platform.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orblly's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform. Continued use of Orblly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
